Traveling lighter and stylishly is every travellers' dream.

Our missions at Encircled is to help women travel lighter + do more with less. This is achieved not only through creating innovative designs but also by providing value-added content around how to travel lighter.

We have a handful of go-to bloggers + wanderlusters who we look towards for travel inspiration.

These are individuals who are masters embracing the mantra of travel lighter.

Here our the top 8 Best Resources for Learning to Travel Lighter without compromising style.

Hope you find them helpful + inspiring for achieving your goals of going carry-on only on your next adventure.

1. Hitha on the Go

Hitha is one of my fav ex-corporate jet setters. We used to commiserate about our days on the road, flying endlessly. Her blog is BEAUTIFUL. Content is concise and practical. Style on point also.

My favourite posts from Hitha on the Go is her travel tips on how to pack winter gear. She has step by step diagrams on how to fold + compress winter items. So smart!

Word on the street is that Hitha has a packing light book coming out later this year. I cannot wait + hope to giveaway a few copies to our newsletter readersCheck out Hitha on the Go's blog here and Instagram feed here.

2. Her Packing List

Brooke's blog, HerPackingList is THE go-to for female packing lists for traveling light. Herpackinglist.com has grown immensely, and last year Brooke re-designed her whole site to make it even easier to find exactly the information you need to travel lighter.

My favourite post from HerPackingList is her ultimate round-up of packing lists for going anywhere. Seriously, every single trip is covered.

The essential building block of traveling light is pre-planning and following a clear list of things to bring. Check out Herpackinglist.com here.

3. Light by Coco

Coco is an expert in traveling and living light. She creates engaging, practical and dynamic videos on her YouTube channel as well as value-rich content on her blog focusing on developing a mindset around living light which translates into traveling light as well.

My favourite post from Light By Coco is Tips for Creating a Capsule Wardrobe. If you've ever thought about re-designing your wardrobe and fashion habits, this is a must-watch.

Bonus: Light by Coco covers off not only traveling light but living light. She has excellent health, beauty and lifestyle tips and advice for doing more with less. Check out Light by Coco's blog here, and YouTube channel here.

4. The Travel Hack

Monica's blog, the Travel Hack is awesome. A blend of travel tips, tricks and hacks to get you traveling lighter, smarter and more often. Monica and her team of travel-loving writers take on product and gear reviews, tips for saving money while traveling, sharing what to pack and destination guides.

My favourite post from the Travel Hack is My Secret to Packing Light. Spoiler alert: She only takes 1 pair of pants and 1 pair of shorts on a 3-week trip. Must. Read. This.

5. Hej Doll

Hej Doll is a blog run by Jessica Doll, a photographer, traveler and mom. She shares her adventures on the west coast and beyond, beautifully and always, in style.

My favourite posts from Hej Doll is her series of traveling light for a variety of destinations. She's truly mastered the concept of capsule wardrobe, and her photography is breathtaking.

Mimi is a savvy world traveler and entrepreneur. She's a Canadian, living abroad in London with her husband (and entrepreneur also), Alex. She's a self-proclaimed Global citizen! Her Instagram page is a collection of her jet setting across the pond and so inspiring.

My favourite video from Mimi Ikonn is How to Pack Light for Travel. Mimi's videos are totally addictive.

They are well-produced and positive. I've spent hours watching her YouTube channel which runs the gamut of traveling and fashion advice, to tips for cleaning out your closet and cooking healthy.

You can also check out Mimi on her blog here.

7. Travel Fashion Girl

While HerPackingList and Rick Steves' definitely rule in the practical packing list space, Travel Fashion Girl perfectly blends practicality WITH fashion.

When I think of unfashionable travel items, I immediately think of zip-off pants. You definitely won't find those on Alex's blog, TravelFashionGirl.com.

My favourite post from Travel Fashion Girl is What to Wear in London in the Summer. Often, when packing for a specific destinations, at particular times of year, it gets tricky. The more detailed the packing advice, the better.

Travel Fashion Girl is definitely one of our go-to blogs. Check them out here.

8. Jetset Justine

Jetset Justine is a Toronto-based Travel blogger.

She is definitely a jet-setter. Her style is super high fashion, however I still find her blog to be a good resource for outfit ideas while traveling abroad.

My favourite post from Jetset Justine is her outfit she wore in London. So comfy, so chic yet casual.
